Picnic Cinema is run by Eden Arts, an arts organisation and charity based in Penrith in the district of Eden, Cumbria.
Far more than an outdoor cinema, the full Picnic Cinema experience includes dressing up, camping over, and letting your hair down with fun and games before the film, music, dancing and many more surprises.
All income raised from Picnic Cinema helps support Eden Arts projects (find out more about them here…)
Picnic Cinema would not be possible without the support Eden Arts have received from The Big Lottery Fund and Arts Council England.
We would also like to say a big thank you all the venue/site managers and owners that make Picnic Cinema possible.
Eden Arts is all about bringing art and cultural activities and events to rural communities and has a pretty eclectic programme from The Winter Droving, a huge town centre event with music, street performers and FIRE to events at the Old Fire Station, in Penrith.
